Methodology, data provenance tiers and citation rules

This page is the documentation behind every public piece the institute publishes. Any reader should be able to tell whether a data point comes from an independent public source, a Mingyuan internal project, the institute’s own reasoning, or a combination.

1. Data provenance tiers

The institute classifies all publicly stated data into four tiers. Readers should treat them as inputs of different reliability and should not mix them.

Tier 1 · Independent public source

Comes from WHO, Gavi, UNICEF, CDC, European Commission, China NHC, NMPA, peer-reviewed journals, mainstream media, authoritative market research firms (IDC, Gartner, CCID) and similar. The institute commits to making every such data point traceable by readers to the original document.

Tier 2 · Mingyuan verified

Comes from real projects Mingyuan Biotechnology has completed or is executing. These data points are not independently audited, so the institute only publishes directional conclusions and observable improvement directions — specific percentages are not published without partner authorization.

Tier 3 · Mingyuan R&D

Internal R&D lab test data from Mingyuan (not yet commercialized). The institute labels these as "internal testing / non-commercial" and does not use them as industry benchmarks.

Tier 4 · Reference design

Engineering designs or methodologies proposed by the institute itself, not real deployments. All such entries are clearly labeled "reference design / methodology".

2. What we do NOT do

  • We do not publish unverified specific percentages as industry benchmarks.
  • We do not fabricate interview Q&A. All interviews must be based on real recordings with written consent.
  • We do not use unauthorized client, partner or university names for marketing references.
  • We do not make "done"-tense statements about future work (e.g. presenting unpublished whitepapers as published).
  • We do not cite this site itself as a source (self-citation loop).

3. Corrections policy

The institute commits to responding to all reader corrections within 5 business days. Verified errors will be marked at the bottom of the corresponding page. Serious errors will receive a dedicated correction note in the Observatory. Contact: mingyuanbio@163.com.

4. Citation rules

You are welcome to cite any public research. Please use APA 7 format and include "VaxFuture · Future Institute" plus the URL in your footnotes or references. Commercial redistribution requires written notice to mingyuanbio@163.com. All public materials are open to community audit.
